Paul J. Wagner passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 57 after a long struggle with cancer. He was born on July 27, 1956 in Hartford to Francis and Justina (nee Felten) Wagner.

Paul married Jacquelyn Sabo on August 20, 1977 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Slinger. They were then blessed with three children.

Paul was an incredibly skilled mason. He dedicated over 30 years in the trade before he retired from D. A. Masonry in March. When he wasn't working, Paul was always busy. He was either cutting lawn, cutting wood, playing with his grandsons, or simply enjoying the "High Life".

Paul also took great pride in cruising in the '69 Camaro that he restored. He also enjoyed a good hunting trip with the gang in Park Falls.

Paul is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jacky; children Jeremy, Nicole (Chris) Miller, and Ashley (Matt) Glocke; and grandsons Aiden, Ethan, and Clayton Paul. He is further survived by his siblings Catherine (Ron) Gundrum, Barb Wagner, Mary Olson, Joe (Pat), twin brother Pete (Annette), Justina Bartmann, Christine (Mike) Blank, Tony (Rose), Ann (Bill) Reese; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Justina Wagner, in-laws LaVern "Lefty" and Lucille Sabo, and nephew Christopher Olson.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:45 PM on Friday, May 9, 2014 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 200 E. Washington St. in Slinger with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 7:00 PM. Private interment will take place at New St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Colin Mooney, Dr. Candice Johnstone and Kraemer Cancer Center staff for all their support and compassion during Paul's journey.

Paul was a simple man. He was at his happiest when he had his family and his work.
