Patricia M Towne (nee Harris), 73, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday March 31, 2018. Patricia was born in Rhinelander, WI on May 9, 1944 to Albert and Elvie Harris (nee Lindgren). On July 3, 1963 she married her best friend and childhood sweetheart Forest R. Towne and together they relocated to Southeastern Wisconsin to raise their family.
Patricia was a dedicated employee and worked her way through the ranks to become manager at a local brake manufacturing plant for over 20 years. She then went on to retire from Metal Craft of Mayville in 2008.
She loved growing flowers and plants in her gardens, camping, and cooking meals for her loved ones. Patricia enjoyed playing poker and Zilch with family and friends and cheering for the Green Bay Packers. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a role model for teaching her children and grandchildren to be responsible adults and to always pursue their passions in life.
Pat is survived by her husband of 54 years, Forest; children, Doug (Tammy) Towne, Jean (Brad) Maurer, Ken (Debbie) Towne, Susie (Steve) Schroeder; grandchildren, Nicolle, Tyler (Hannah) and Justin Towne, Adam Schodron, Courtney and Bret Maurer, Mason and Logan Schroeder, and great grandson Jameson. She is further survived by her siblings Bobby, Ricky, Danny, Randy, Debbie and Linda.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, as well as five siblings.
A Celebration of Life will be held in summer, details will be announced at a later date.
