Norene M. Hochhaus (nee Gibeault), age 71, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the Kathy Hospice of West Bend. She was born on September 19, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI to George and Margaret (nee Dolan) Gibeault. Norene was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Custer High School in 1961. She met Tom Hochhaus and they married on April 24, 1965. She raised three children and retired from the Milwaukee Public School System.

Norene enjoyed being the Queen Mother of the Red Hatters, being involved with the Kewaskum Women's Club and volunteering at St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend. She enjoyed traveling on her "mystery trips". She loved to garden, fish and spend time with family and grandchildren.

Norene is survived by her children Kim (William) Johnson, David (Kathleen) Hochhaus; grandchildren Bridget and Jack; brother Glenn (Julie) Gibeault. She is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Norene is preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom, daughter Pamela Hochhaus and her sister Janis Cichy-Johns.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend) on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 12:00pm with Fr. Nathan Reesman presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of the service.
