Obituary
Neil E. Kroll of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, passed away October 31, 2023, at the age of 80. Neil was born in Mequon, Wisconsin, on February 21, 1943, the son of the late Irvin and Leona (nee Rost) Kroll.
Neil will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 59 years, Karen Kroll (nee Haapanen), and his two daughters, Lori (Matt) Frey and Jodi (Scott) Tuttle. He also leaves behind his brother, Earl (Betty) Kroll, and sister, Carol (Scott) Jansett. Neil was a loving grandfather to Kristin (Evan) Willis and Ryan Tuttle. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.
After graduating from Cedarburg High School in 1961, Neil began his career at Wisconsin Bell, which later became AT&T. He dedicated 32 years to the company, eventually retiring at the age of 50.
Neil had a passion for fishing and hunting, and he owned a second home in Minocqua, Wisconsin, where he enjoyed spending time in nature and creating lasting memories with family and friends.
A Memorial Service to honor Neil will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, WI 53095. Visitation with family and friends will start at 11:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m., and the Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
