Monica Lynn Nowak (nee Faber), of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 54. Monica was born on September 20, 1965, to parents Thomas Faber and Mary (nee Hanson) Hartman. She was born and raised in Milwaukee, and attended high school at Custer High School. On July 11, 2001, she married the love of her life, Michael Nowak. Monica loved shopping, attending farmers markets, fishing, and animals; especially her cat "Mary Jane".

Monica is survived by her loving husband, Michael; as well as her siblings, Michael (Susan) Faber, and Maureen (Dave) Buslaff; her stepmother, Jan Faber; nephew Erik (Jennifer) Faber, great-niece Emma Faber, and great-nephew Ethan Faber; her niece, Angela (Eric) Butler, and great-nephew Wyatt Butler; and many other relatives and friends.

Monica is preceded in death by her parents, and her dear stepfather, Dewey Hartman.

Memorials are appreciated to the family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
