Monica A. (nee Meier) McDaniel, loved by many, was reunited with her beloved
husband Tom, when she passed away on Christmas day surrounded by her
daughters. She was born on May 1, 1931 to Charles and Marie (nee Cunningham)
Meier. Monica was raised on a farm in Eden, Wisconsin and graduated from St.
Mary's Springs Academy in Fond du Lac. She went on to earn a Bachelor of
Physical Education from UW-LaCrosse, WI. She taught Physical Education for
many years, 17 of them at St. Frances Cabrini School in West Bend, WI. She met
her beloved husband Tom at 4H Camp in Green Lake when they were only 13 and
14 years old and married on June 22, 1957 in Eden, Wisconsin.

Monica lived life to the fullest and was known and loved for her quick wit, sense
of humor, love of anything Irish, her May Day Baskets and love of WI sports. She
loved socializing with many beloved friends, relatives and her cherished
grandchildren.

Monica is survived by her daughters Sheila Piccione and Maggie (Tim) McDaniel-
Mollwitz: grandchildren Caitlin (Cole) Van Lankvelt, Madeline, Megan, Michael
and Maxwell Mollwitz and new Great Grandson Henry Thomas Van Lankvelt;
Siblings Mary Bick, Rita Draeger, Betty (Dick) Theis, and Bob Meier; brother-in -
law Pat McDaniel, numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marie Meier, her husband of 57
years Tom, siblings Jack and Leo Meier, siblings -in-law Bill Bick, Ruth (Jack) Meier,
Sandy (Leo) Meier, Harlan Draeger, Butch and Marie Schomish, Rita and Ray
Casey, Bob and Rosie McDaniel, and Anne McDaniel.

A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Church (1025 S. 7th Ave.
West Bend, WI 53095) on Saturday, April 30, 2022 with visitation from 10:00AM
until the Mass at 12:00PM. A private family Interment of ashes will take place
on May 1, 2022 (May Day) at Eden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to the charity of your choice
