Obituary

Milton Harold Holl, at the age of 87, entered the gates of heaven on September 19th, 2025. He passed peacefully in home hospice care surrounded by love and his family.

Milt was born on September 9th, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but became a lifelong resident of West Bend, Wisconsin, attending McLane Elementary School and West Bend High School. He was also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in West Bend. Milt attended multiple Wisconsin colleges, including Lakeland, Carroll and Whitewater. He became an avid businessman working for Mallard Coach and Sierra Grinding Wheel of Jackson, Wisconsin. Milt also maintained multiple other properties and investments over the years, keeping him busy with his bookwork until his passing.

Besides Milt's love of business and finance, his favorite activities included fishing and pontoon boat rides at the beloved family cottage on Pine Lake in Hiles, Wisconsin. He also enjoyed socializing but not without a cold Miller Lite or old fashioned. Milt was a huge animal lover who cherished having a pet dog by his side and watching the birds on his feeders. Milt traveled to many places throughout his life with his wife, family and friends as well as with the congregation of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ. However, his favorite travel spot was his condo in Cape Coral, Florida, overlooking a scenic canal.

Words can't begin to describe the greatness of Milt's character. He was the most gentle soul, very wise, and an easy-going man who never complained. He brought joy to everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his warmth and devotion to his family and faith. Milt visited his wife, Jeanette, everyday after her placement into assisted living. Not only an extraordinary husband, but an extraordinary friend, father, and grandfather. Milt's death leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. He was truly one of a kind.

Milt was welcomed into heaven by his father Milton Holl, mother Delores Holl (Leverenz) and his sister Shirley Holl.

Milt was married to his beautiful bride, Jeanette, for 60 years. Together, they created a great life and family, including son Brent (Debra) Holl and adopted daughter from Chile, Viviana Holl. Granddaughters Brittany Weir, Morgan (Jacob) Duquaine and Juliana Almeda. Grandsons Brandon (Liz) Weir, Antonio and Sebastain (Callie Fuentes) Almeda. Great grandchildren Gavin and Faith Christensen, Henry and Adela Weir, Cole and Kaelynn Kitchel and Selena Almeda. Cousins Mark (Judy) Holl.

Milt wanted his loved ones to celebrate his life with beer, laughter and memories. Therefore, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In addition, in honor of Milt, donations can be made to Our Saviour's United Church of Christ in Germantown, Wisconsin.

Rest in peace Milt. You will forever remain in our hearts. Until we meet again.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now a crown is being held for me - a crown for being right with God."
