Mildred E. Delaney (nee Cate) of West Bend, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Kathy Hospice,

Mildred was born on September 27, 1924 in Corning Arkansas to Claude and Leona (nee Dodd) Cate. She married the late Walter Delaney in Arkansas and moved to West Bend in the early 60's where they raised their family. Mildred raised her children and then worked in the office of the West Bend Company. She loved to garden, canning, books, crossword puzzles, sewing, golfing at the West Bend Country Club and traveling with her family.

Mildred is survived by her children Beth (Steve) Trott, Roland (Lisa) Delaney, grandchildren Lori (Larry) Penkwitz and Jack Karl, great-grandchildren Mickayan and Sage Penkwitz. She is further survived by her siblings Claudia Cole, Lessie Terry, Patricia Parrish and Jean Aycock, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, brother Ottis and sister Gladys.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Inurnment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, December 9 from 12:00 pm until time of service (1:00 pm).
