Michael P. Thelen, age 69, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born on September 29, 1947 in Port Washington to Theodore and Loretta (nee Woltring). Mike served in the US Army from 1967-1969. He worked as a machinist and retired in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Sharon (nee Wischer); children, Jody (Cara) Thelen, Jill (Michael) Kufahl and Amanda (Gary) Filkins; stepdaughter, Tiffany Pflughoeft; grandchildren Hunter, Cody, Isabella, Liliana, Amber and Ayden; siblings, Nancy (Lowell) Jenz, Marlene Jackson, Karen (Wayne) Kirst, and Mary (Willie) Weyker; sister-in-law Shirley Thelen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his siblings, Donald, Ronald and Diane (Gerald) Lecher; and brother-in-law Donald Jackson.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). The Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 29th from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM.
