Michael "Mike" Staral, 66 of West Bend, WI passed away peacefully in his favorite place at home after a courageous 7-year battle with ALS.
Mike grew up in and truly loved West Bend and was a proud graduate of the West Bend West class of 1976 and the Moraine Park Technical College Tool & Die program. He started as a Tool & Die apprentice and retired at the age of 58 as Vice President of Sale at Willer Tool Corp.
Mike made lifelong friends wherever he went. His unrelenting positive attitude, zest for life and love of family and dear friends made his life full, then sustained him throughout his illness. He felt truly blessed. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all who cared and showed their love so deeply. He always said, "I have the best friends in the world!"
Mike was dedicated to the West Bend community, proudly following in the footsteps of his beloved grandfather, Tony Staral Sr. Mike was on the Board of Directors for: Moraine Park Technical College, West Bend Parks Dept., Friends of West Bend Parks and West Bend Baseball Association. His presence and dedication will be deeply missed.
