Obituary
Michael Allen Matenaer, age 60 passed away on July 31st, 2018 at his residence in Cedar Grove.
Michael was born on May 8th, 1958, to Paul and Marlene (nee Bruder) Matenaer in West Bend. He graduated from West Bend West High School. He was employed at Ataco Steel of Grafton for over thirty years. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, Old Western movies, Wisconsin sports, and his cats.
Michael is survived by John (Gail) Matenaer of Sheboygan, Barbara (Dave) Brady of Ohio, Jeff (Sylvia) Matenaer of Indiana, Alan (Robin) Matenaer of Fredonia, Lisa (Joe) Winker of Cedar Grove. Further survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceeded in death by his parents and brother Paul and sister Susan.
A Memorial Service for Michael will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, August 3rd, at Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, August 3rd, from 4:00 until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Washington County Humane Society are appreciated.
