Maureen "Micki" Ganshow (Baldwin), age 69 of Jackson WI, unexpectedly passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday Sept. 12th.
She was born August 29th 1955 at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee WI, to Wilbur and Bette Anne (Slindy) Baldwin.
Micki learned how to be a survivor at a young age and in 1973 graduated High School from James Madison high school in Milwaukee. In 1984 she moved to Jackson WI and devoted her life to raising her 3 children and over a 15 plus year career at Kmart, West Bend. Micki enjoyed sewing in her younger years, creating clothes and costumes for her children, she loved reading and keeping her brain sharp with brain games. She was also extremely talented at drawing. She also loved deep conversation about magical parts of the unknown whether it be outer space or beyond our world.
Micki's biggest achievements were her children and 12 grandchildren who truly brought joy to her life as she did in there's. She was always a huge supporter of her children's dreams and endeavors and most importantly her grandchildren. Micki's passing will leave a huge void in the hearts of many family and friends.
Micki will be forever loved by her children, son- Ryan Ganshow and his children- Ethan, Rebekah, Alex, Mae, Nevaeh of Jackson WI. Daughter Renee (David) Paape and children- Kastille, Jack, Elias, Fischer, Louella, Lauren, and Jagger of Hartford, WI. Loving sister Denise Baumgarten of Adam's WI. Lifelong friend and sister in law Denise Baldwin of Watertown WI. Father of children Walter W Ganshow Jr. of Jackson WI. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Micki is preceded in death by her cherished son Chad W. Ganshow (Dec 2008), brother Blake Baldwin (April 2024), granddaughter Emma Patricia Ganshow (Sept. 2000),
and her parents.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
