Matthew Antoine Fausek of West Bend, WI. age 91 passed away peacefully on Sunday February 7, 2016. He was born to Matthew and Phyllis (Nee Gurgall) Fausek on October 28, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI. He was married to the late Joyce (Nee Suszek) Fausek for over fifty years. Together they had two children.

Matthew retired from the United States Post Office after 35 years of service. He was an avid fisherman. Matthew and his wife enjoyed square dancing and traveling for many years.

Matthew is survived by his children, Michael (Mary) Fausek and Kathleen (Kevin) Arnett; his grandchildren, Todd Fausek and Cassandra (Chris) Bruso; great-grandchildren, Connor and Aiden Fausek and Parker and Landon Bruso; brothers Jim and John Fausek; sister, Janet (Al) Susa; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce; sisters, Phyllis, Eve and Virginia; brother, Ralph and two brothers-in-law.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00PM on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 at The Phillip Funeral Home chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI) with Deacon Mike Koebel presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00PM until the time of service.
