Matilda "Tillie" Van Pietersom (nee Rodriguez), 48, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014. She was born in Milwaukee on August 16, 1965. She graduated from James Madison High School in Milwaukee and worked as an administrative assistant for Jewish Family Services.
Tillie enjoyed nature and trips up north to their cabin in Ogema. She was a great hunter and loved fishing. Other favorite pastimes included sewing, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. Her daughter was her pride and joy and she attended all of her sporting and other events.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brian; cherished daughter, Megan; beloved parents, Barbara and wonderful step-father Michael R. Hebert; siblings, Barbara (Donald) Borowski, Angel (Lynn) Rodriguez, Debora (Reinhardt) Toldt, David (Cheryl) Rodriguez, Roseann (John) Sargent, Noel Rodriguez, newfound brother Matthew (Amy) Miskowski; mother-in-law, Maxine VanPietersom and sister-in-law, Linda (John) Mueller. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Tillie is preceded in death by her grandmother, Ann Miskowski and father-in-law, Russel VanPietersom.
The Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 6:45 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend). The Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 28th at 7:00 PM with Deacon Ron Schneider presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the family would be appreciated.
