Obituary

MARY B. (NEE LANGKAU) CLARK HOEPNER, age 92 of West Bend, WI returned to the arms of Jesus to eternal life on 9/ 14 /26. Mary will be remembered for her caring heart, compassionate to many as well as joyful in all of life to be celebrated. As a woman of deep faith, many appreciated her as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, RN at Cedar Community, Pastoral Care Leader at her church, librarian, hot lunch lady, and ballroom dancer. She lived a passion for community, humble in the learning as well as this opportunity to express love.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Alfred F. and Marie (née Trimberger) Langkau; brother John F Langkau, Sheboygan; first husband Albert L. Clark; second husband Leroy H. Hoepner.

Mary is survived by her children Susan (Joel) Saunders, Minneapolis; Peggy (Brian) Kober, Kewaskum; Michael (Paula) Clark, Wausau; Laurie (David) Serena, Wauwatosa; Christopher Clark, Campbellsport; grandmother to Clark, Domenic, Benjamin, Tyler, Emma, Matthew, Kyle, Grace, and Allison; great grandmother to River, Samual, Ripon, Abigail and Haisley. She is further survived by many friends and extended family.

Friends and family may gather at St. Frances Cabrini, West Bend, WI, on Saturday, October 10, 2026 with visitation 9:00-10:15am, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30am, private interment to follow the Mass.

Deep gratitude extended to Ivy Manor West Bend residents, where she chose to discover community again. Appreciation to Ivy Manor staff and owners as well as Preceptor Hospice care team for the quality of care they consistently offered.
