Mary I. Frohmader (nee Thoennes), age 89, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at the Aurora Medical Center Washington County. She was born on March 28, 1931 in Racine, WI to George and Viola (nee Christopherson) Thoennes.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Donald; son Ken (Lenore), and her grandchildren Heather and Kayla.

Mary is further survived by nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends.

Mary loved serving others; she was a Registered Nurse as well as a devoted wife and mother.

She dedicated many years volunteering for Citizens' Advocacy and St. Vincent DePaul. During this time she was a Guardian for an individual with special needs, and served as President of Washington County St. Vincent DePaul.

Due to CDC restrictions, a Private Family Service will take place and Interment will be at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in the Town of Clifton. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In Lieu of flowers or memorials to the family, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Kewaskum House of Prayer.
