Marvin "Marv" Hamm, age 78, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 13, 1937 in Rudolph, WI to Charles and Mathilda (nee Gundrum) Hamm. Marv loved traveling in the motorhome, being a member of St. Peter's Church, Knights of Columbus and was an active member of Wisconsin Voyagers. He fought a courageous battle with cancer.
Marv is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol; children Roger (Renee), Sandy (Kent) Lisko, Bob (Patsy), Suann Mason; grandchildren Stephanie (Austin) Smith, Kelly Bamke, Brian, Tanya (Doug) Blaty, Samantha (Austin) Kearns, Brad and Garett, Jacob, Deven Mason; great-grandchildren Isabelle, Ethan, Lexi, Maiya; special family friends Dave (Nancy) Stewart; siblings Gladys (Walter) Wenzlaff, Delores Wolf, William (Eva), Marlene (Donald) Sarauer, Lois (Roy) Lochen, Rosie (Dennis) Edwards; siblings-in-law Leo (Pat) Dornacker, Ruth (Tom) Jansen, Ralph (Arleen) Dornacker. He is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, infant son Joseph, parents-in-law George and Eleanor Dornacker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church (200 E. Washington St., Slinger, WI) on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be held at church from 11:00am until the time of Mass. Interment will follow at New St. Peter's Cemetery.
