Marlene H. Witte (nee Giessen), age 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2018 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend. She was born on June 27, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI to Joseph and Helen (nee Valent) Giessen. Marlene was a hard worker in all things. She farmed along-side her beloved husband, Edward, of 64 years. Marlene loved her church, singing in the choir, sewing, crafting and gardening.

Marlene is survived by her husband, Edward; daughter, Nancy (Russell) Witte-Dycus and brother, Lyle Giessen. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Marlene is preceded in death by her sister Patricia (Francis) Dieringer and sister-in-law Judy Giessen.

A Funeral Service will be at 6:00PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (1268 Pleasant Valley Rd. West Bend, WI 53095) with Rev. Kenneth Mellon presiding. Visitation will be at church on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 4:00PM until time of the service (6:00PM). Private Interment at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery.
