Obituary

Marlene "Molly" Lee

Passed away November 2, 2023 in Hartford, Wisconsin. She married Richard Lee and had five children: Linda (Mark), Mary (Dan Komp), John (Nancy), Susan, Robert (Agnes); 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Her husband, Richard, her sister Patricia Dumke and son-in-law Chuck Knickrehm preceded her in death.

A graduate of Custer High School, she worked beside her husband all her life. With the help of friends and a $400 loan from her father they built their first home from Richard's plans. They started the family business in the garage of that home. Three years later they moved to Hartford and the business moved to the basement of their home until it finally grew so big it required its own building, to Molly's relief.

Molly was a meticulous bookkeeper to the very end, a volunteer for countless charities, poll worker and a quietly generous soul always anxious to help. She was an avid bowler, puzzle lover and a heck of a trap shooter.
