Marlene Mae Brusky (nee Heiter) "Gram B", age 74, of Randolph, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, November 10, 2014, at The Kathy Hospice. She was born on August 18, 1940, in Kewaunee to Edwin and Viola (nee Evenson) Heiter. Marlene was raised in Kewaunee. She met Frank P. Brusky, and they married on October 18, 1957 in Kewaunee. The family moved to West Bend in 1969. Marlene was a devoted homemaker, was active in her church, but in her later years worked in home health care.
Marlene was a good cook. Her potato salad was a family favorite, and she made it for weddings and showers and other family gatherings.
Marlene is survived by her children Colleen Radmann, Brian Brusky and Lori Ann (Orville) Nichols; grandchildren Shawn (Lori) Roth, Adam Wendelborn, Michael Schneider, Brandon Biles and Joey Biles; great-grandchildren Chancelor Roth and Nevaeh Roth; brother Robert (Carol) Heiter; sisters Shirley Rush, Ruth Wilke and Kathy (Glen) Kellerman; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many other special people that were a part of her life. Preceded in death by her husband Frank, her parents, and her and Frank's chocolate lab Ginger.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church (7750 N. Hwy 144) on Friday, November 14 at 10:00AM with Rev. Robert A. Korytkowski officiating. Visitation will be held at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Dr.), West Bend on Thursday, November 13 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and again Friday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church from 9:00AM until the time of the service.
