Mark Edward Larson, age 63, passed away on Sunday August 13, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. He was born on March 28, 1960, to Darrell and Bette (nee Berres) Larson. On October 11, 1980, he was united in marriage to Lu Ann (nee Kertscher) and resided in Campbellsport, WI for the past 36 years. Mark was a 1978 graduate of West Bend West High School and a former employee at the West Bend Company.
Mark's joy in life was hunting, fishing and ice fishing. His overall joy was sharing all his stories and adventures with anyone. His wife also shared his passion and numerous trips deer hunting and ice fishing. Mark most enjoyed ice fishing, especially at Upper Red Lake and Lake of The Woods in Minnesota. Mark's favorite way for starting a conversion was, "are you a hunter"? Mark had such a passion for the outdoors.
Mark is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lu Ann; brother Chuck (Christie) Larson; sister Diane (Steve) Lehnerz, and stepmother Sharon Larson. He is further survived by sisters-in-law Linda Hollister, Lois (Perry) Ebersold; and LaVern Kertscher; his special uncle Calvin Ebersold and other nieces and family.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents Darrell Larson, Bette Larson; in-laws Raymond and Ruby Kertscher; brother-in-law Sherman Hollister and his best friend and hunting buddy, Bob Schaeffer.
A Memorial Service will be at 6:00PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 23rd from 4:00PM until 5:45PM. Inurnment will be at Washington County Memorial Park on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 11:00AM.
