Obituary
Mark Harold Bokath, age 64, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Froedtert of Milwaukee. He was born on November 29, 1959 in Milwaukee to William and Alice (nee Heck) Bokath. On October 30, 1982 Mark married the love of his life Lynne (nee Lambrecht) in Milwaukee, WI.
When Mark was younger in his spare time with his friends, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, and boating. He also loved hunting. As a teen he would go up north to hunt with his father. He continued that tradition with his three boys as they got old enough to hunt, trap shoot, and spend time up north with Dad. It was always a race to the cabin after football games and other activities in the fall. If there was anything else in the world he loved as much as his family, it was spending time at the cabin surrounded by his three boys and lifelong friends during the fall hunting season. Like any true Wisconsinite, Mark was an avid Packer, Brewer, and Badger fan. He enjoyed participating in Fantasy Football and regularly teased his weekly opponent. Mark spent 40+ years in tool & die which led him to acquire his business Elite Tool & Manufacturing with his son. He celebrated five years owning the business this past spring.
Mark is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lynne; three sons, Steven (Jessica) Bokath, Shawn (Christee) Bokath, Cody (Kelsey) Bokath.He is further survived by two siblings Linda Ewer and Bill Bokath; seven grandchildren Jaden, Miranda, Amelia, Mickenzie, Zack, Gage, and Jazmine; and other family and friends.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents William C. Bokath and Alice M. Bokath.
A gathering of friends and family will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 12:00pm until 3:00pm at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095).
