Marita M Kaehler

Marita M. Kaehler (nee Nohr), age 84, of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Kettle Moraine Gardens, in Kewaskum.
Marita was born on June 1, 1941 in West Bend, WI to Arthur and Margaret Nohr (nee Klein). She graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1959. On December 18, 1959, she married Charles Kaehler. They met through common friends. During their 66 year marriage, they raised three boys that they are very proud of. All three are responsible, honest and hard-working individuals. Marita loved playing the piano. She was a church pianist, since she was about 12 years old, for many years. She also played the organ and sang specials. She was a wonderful homemaker and excellent cook, tackling any recipe that sounded interesting. She enjoyed crocheting and lovingly passed that talent on to her grand-daughter. She worked at Grainger as a secretary/scheduler at the West Bend Airport and after that, worked at B.C. Ziegler 1980-1992 in the bond department.
Marita is survived by her loving husband, Charles; their three children: Jeffrey (Natalie) Kaehler, Daniel (Renee) Kaehler and Bradley (Vickey) Kaehler; four grandchildren: Brett (Angie) Kaehler, Cassie (Matt) Nolan, Zachary (Hailey) Kaehler, and Brandon (Kymberly) Kaehler; and great-grandchildren: Mason and Jaxson Kaehler; Kayler Nolan; Hudson, Sawyer and Rosie Kaehler; Abby and Aubrey Kaehler; three step-grandchildren: Shawn (Samantha) Peters, Kyle (Jessie) Peters and Cody (Kim) Peters; seven step-great-grandchildren: Emma and Noah, Adalyn, Landon, Gianna, Cora, and Weston; her brother, John Nohr; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Isaacson and Colleen Nohr and brother-in-law, Corky Woodis. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Carrie and William Kaehler; her brothers, James and Robert Nohr; sister, Sandra Woodis and sisters-in-law, Chris Nohr and Cheryl Nohr and brothers-in-law, Ray Kaehler and Bucky Isaacson.
After battling diabetes over half her life, she now has rest in a better place.
There will be no formal funeral service per Marita’s wishes. However, in memory of Marita M. Kaehler, please donate to the American Diabetes Association.
