Marion E. Burlo
(nee Krocka)
Entered into Eternal Life on August 22, 2023, at the age of 93. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Esther Krocka. Marion married James Burlo on June 25, 1949. She was an active member of Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Parish, West Bend, and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing cards, Dominos, and the peacefulness of Long Lake in Dundee, WI.
Marion is survived by her children Sharon (Jim) Kapus, Alan (the late Carole) Burlo, and Renee (Ted) Zaplatosch; grandchildren Tom Phillips, Amy (Randy) McCartney, Doug (Annie) Kapus, Charolette (Lenny) Nesta, Tony Burlo, Nick (Bobbie) Burlo, Kim (Rick) Pinsch, Jason Zaplatosch and Kasey Zaplatosch; nine great-grandchildren; brother Richard (Marie) Krocka, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings Joe, Mildred, and Bob.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 4:00PM until 5:45PM, with a Memorial Service at 6:00PM, at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Frances Cabrini or The National Downs Syndrome Society would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and nurses with Ellen's House South and Horizon Home Care Hospice, for the care and compassion they gave to Marion.
