Marie Ghilani (nee Bourbonnais), age 95 years of Slinger, passed away March 18, 2016 at the Pavillion at Glacier Valley.

Marie was born on March 12, 1921 in Houghton, MI to Elmer and Margaret (nee Stabler) Bourbonnais. She married the late Joseph Ghilani and later moved to Slinger and started farming. Marie loved to crochet and bake for all her family, but especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Member of St. Peter Catholic Church of Slinger.

Marie is survived by her children Dona (Charles) Nash, Joseph (Chris), Charles (Mary), Mark (Lois) and Lynn Witte. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, special brother Francis Bourbonnias, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Joseph, brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 E. Washington St., Slinger) with Father Richard J. Stoffel presiding. Interment will take place at Diefenbach Cemetery in Slinger. Visitation will be at the CHURCH ONLY on Wednesday, March 30 from 9:30 am until 10:45am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Peter Building Fund (208 E. Washington St., Slinger, WI 53086).
