Obituary

Marianne Gielow (nee Neu), age 53, of West Bend,WI, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday May 10th, 2015 at Kathy Hospice. She was born on January 29th, 1962 in Milwaukee to Robert and Nancy (nee Hambuch) Neu. She was raised in Brookfield and graduated from Brookfield West High School in 1980. She met her high school sweetheart, the late Derek Wittkowske and they married on March 24th 1984 at St. Johns Vianney Catholic Church in Brookfield and were blessed with two beautiful children. She was lucky enough to find love again in 2003 when she met Jerry Gielow in Jackson, WI and were united in marriage on June 26th, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV. Marianne was employed as a Produce Manager at Walmart for 8 years.

She was known for her positive attitude in life, beautiful smile and love for her children. Her passions in life were crafting, gardening, cooking/baking and a love for the outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and cats who will all miss her deeply.

Marianne is survived by her husband Jerry, of 9 years; her children Megan A.(Justin Ott) and Joshua E. Wittkowske; her parents Robert and Nancy; fathers-in-law Chuck Wittkowske, Ray Mallo and Gerald Gielow; sisters-in-law Kelly (Mike) Long and Deborah (Jim) Magoon; God Parents Gloria Pucek and Richard Neu; nieces Nicole (Tim) Muenchow and Lisa Long and other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by Derek Wittkowske, mother-in-law Karen (nee Powers) Wittkowske; brother Christopher Neu and Uncle Elmer Pucek.

A Funeral Service will be held at Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise, West Bend, WI) on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2:00PM with Deacon Ron Schneider officiating. Visitation will be held at Phillip Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, May 14th from 11:30AM until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend immediately following the service.

A special thank you to Cedar Community, Kraemer Cancer Center and Kathy Hospice for their wonderful care and support through these difficult times. Also a special thanks to everyone who contributed to Marianne's cancer benefit.
