Marguerite "Carol" Boyer (nee Ortman), age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at The Pavilion in Slinger. She was born on November 10, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI to Percy and Mary (nee Murray) Ortman. Carol enjoyed gardening, watching her sports-Packers and Brewers, the fact that her birthday is the same date as when the United States Marines were born! Watching TV and eating chocolate was a favorite pass time. She worked at the VA Hospital for over 25 years. Carol especially loved time with her family and the joy of the holidays.

Carol is survived by her children, Robert Boyer, Gregory Boyer, Ann (Rick) Conti, Colleen (George) Werner, William (Kelly) Boyer; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and her sister, Mary "Joanie" Majcher. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Doug (Virginia) Ortman and Paul (first wife Shirley) (second wife Chris) Ortman, her brother-in-law Leonard Majcher and the father of her 5 children Richard Boyer.

A Memorial Service will be at 12:00PM on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, December 23rd from 10:30AM until 11:45AM.
