Margaret "Peggy" R. Holk (nee Hupfer)
Entered into Heaven on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born in West Bend, WI, the daughter of the late John and Teresa (nee VonRueden). Peggy married Timothy Lee Holk in June of 1958, and had five children together. He passed away in October of 1976. Peggy later married Peter G. Holk in June of 1989, he passed away on November 10, 2023. She retired from the West Bend Company after 30 years of service. Peggy loved flowers, gardening and all types of birds, mostly cardinals and hummingbirds. She was a hard worker and a "doer." Peggy enjoyed baking and found great pleasure in sharing her baked goods with everyone.
Peggy is survived by her children Judy (Henry) Kowalewski, Jeanine Pyle, Joanne Holk, and Brian (Jodi) Holk; daughter-in-law Janet Holk; stepchildren Anne Potter, Martha Dick, Paul Holk; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by siblings Janet Palecek, Albert "Butch" (Mary Ann) Hupfer, Matt (Betty) Hupfer, twin sister Mary (Wayne) Bub, and Kathy Wosnig; sister-in-law Rita Hupfer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Timothy, stepson Peter Jr; siblings Tom (Diane) Hupfer, Francis Hupfer, and Pat (John) Wagner; brother-in-law Chuck Palecek.
The family would like to thank the incredible team at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa for their kind and loving care of Peggy while she was hospitalized in the Neuro ICU.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 12:00PM until 1:15PM, with a Funeral Service at 1:30PM followed by food and fellowship, at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Saukville American Legion Post 470, would be appreciated.
