Obituary
Marcellee "Marcy" M. Donaldson (nee Buroker) passed peacefully on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of the late Ellis and Verla (nee Robinson) Buroker.
She graduated from college with a nursing degree and obtained her nursing license. She pursued several roles within the nursing profession, before settling on a teaching role. She worked as an instructor for Moraine Park Technical Institute (now Moraine Park Technical College) for many years. She later worked towards and proudly completed her Master's degree in the Science of Nursing at the University of Oshkosh. She was a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard.
Her hobbies included gardening, home improvement projects, watching the Packers and Badger football games, listening to music, caring for her dogs, and of course following the activities of her son Jim. She was the superfan for everything he participated in from his main sport of soccer to baseball, basketball, and all his musical performances. She treasured spending time with family, especially her parents and her sister and her family.
Marcy is survived by her son James "Jim" (Sarah) Donaldson; grandchildren Ava and Jillian; sister Darleen (the late Roger) Guetschow. She is further survived by nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Marcy was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 12:00PM until 1:45PM, with the Funeral Service at 2:00PM, at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the ASPCA in Marcellee's name would be appreciated.
