Marc Vincent Hiller Cable, age 37, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. His life was far too short, but his love and the memories he leaves behind will be treasured forever by his family and friends.
Marc was born on September 14, 1989, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Kerri Hiller and Jose Rivera. He grew up in Slinger, Wisconsin, and attended West Bend High School.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Marc took great pride in the work of his hands. As the owner of Built Differently Construction LLC, he found fulfillment in building homes from the ground up. He carried that same passion into the home he shared with his family, spending countless hours renovating and restoring it. Every project reflected his determination, creativity, and desire to build something lasting.
On July 19, 2016, Marc married Latanya N. Spikes at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. Together, they shared a life filled with love, family, and dreams for the future. The home they worked on together remains a meaningful part of their story—a place shaped by their shared hopes and Marc’s hard work. Marc was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waucousta, Wisconsin.
Marc loved the outdoors and found joy in life’s simple moments. Camping, hiking, fishing, gathering around a bonfire, and spending time at the beach or swimming were among his favorite ways to enjoy a day. He especially looked forward to Halloween, bringing his enthusiasm for the season to life through his yard decorations. Music was another cherished part of his life, accompanying many of the moments and memories he shared with those he loved.
Above all, Marc’s greatest pride and joy were his children and his family. Fatherhood held a special place in his heart, and he treasured the time they spent together. His loved ones will carry with them the everyday moments that now mean so much—the conversations, the laughter, and the comfort of having him near.
Marc leaves behind his beloved wife, Latanya; his cherished children, Jonathan, Trevell, Jayden, Andrnae, Elaina, and Michael; his grandson Josiah Lanier; his parents, Kerri and Marvin; and his grandparents, Patricia (Jack) and Chuck (Corrine), his aunt Tammie and uncle Scott.
He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Joseph, Angela, Alicia, Amanda, Rachel, Elizabeth, Marina, Jedy, and Emiliano; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Marc was preceded in death by his brother Rafael Victor Rodriguez; his beloved dog boys, Hypnos and Spooky; his Papa Randy Menzel; and his grandson, Armani Lanier.
Marc’s presence will be deeply missed—in the home he helped build, in the traditions he loved, and in the lives of those who knew him best. His family will forever treasure his love and hold close the memories of a husband, father, son, brother, and friend taken far too soon.
