Louis "Lou" Anthony Sworske, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend. He was born on June 11, 1937 to Louis and Agnes (nee Kosidowski) Sworske. He attended Messmer High School and graduated Marquette University. Lou married his love, Theresa "Terry" L Margherita on June 28, 1981 in Milwaukee, WI.

For many years Lou enjoyed working with bees and produced wonderful wildflower honey. He spent several years as an organic farmer on a 30-acre farm in Allenton, Wisconsin. At that time, he also was working for AT&T. After selling the farm, he became an avid gardener who spent many happy hours tending his vegetables. Everyone turned to him for advice on growing vegetables and fruit. He even made his own wine from grapes that he grew. During part of his career, Lou worked at Marquette University and besides electrical work was promoted to programming their environmental computer system. He was trained in electronics (a radio tech in the US Army) and was a skilled handyman—everyone's first "Mr. Fix-it"!

Lou enjoyed being a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Gabriel Conference, he also served as assistant bookkeeper for the Washington County Council for many years.
A Memorial Service for Lou will be held at a later date.
