Obituary
Lorraine Mary "LuLu" Kell (nee Scholtes), age 95, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025. Lorraine was born on April 7, 1930, to Conrad and Cecilia Scholtes in Hartford, WI. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Shawn Kell, on February 3, 1951.
Lorraine loved spending time at their A-Frame cabin in the northwoods of Post Lake, WI., where she enjoyed boating and snowmobiling. She loved spending time on their boat at Skipper Bud's Marina in Oshkosh, WI with many of their friends. In Lorraine's younger days, she enjoyed gardening, outdoor activities, and of course having her Old Fashions. Another joy of hers was spending time with family.
Lorraine leaves behind to cherish her memories, her five children, Kerry (Char) Kell of West Bend, Kim Kell (Chris Burns) of Richmond, VA., Rick (Sue) Kell of West Bend, Tammy Kell of Elkhart, Indiana and Shelly Kell (Brian Holtz) of West Bend; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Lorraine is preceded in death by her love, Shawn Kell; daughter, Pam Kell; grandsons, Jason Skelton and Colton Swift and her parents.
A private family service will be held with Pastor Steve Bode presiding. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Pastor Bode, the Kathy Hospice and Phillip Funeral Home in assisting the family. In lieu of the flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Kathy Hospice (3232 Pleasant Vally Dr. West Bend, WI 53095).
