Lorraine M. Degner (nee Eickstedt), age 85 years of West Bend passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Cottages of Cedar Run.

Lorraine was born on Nov 6, 1928 to Walter and Evina Eickstedt in Cedarburg. After graduating from Cedarburg High School, Lorraine married John Degner. They raised their son in the West Bend area and she worked for BC Ziegler Co. for 35 years until retirement. Lorraine enjoyed walking and seeing nature, she enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a long time member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend.

Lorraine is survived by her son Michael (Oleta) of New Mexico, grandchildren Levi (Heather), Drew (Pam) and Jory (Brian) Walker; great-grandchildren Landon, Laci, Katlyn, Chloe, Gracie, Andrew and Logan and JayCee Walker, sisters-in-law Alice Eickstedt and Hildegard Eickstedt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John, brothers Norman and Walter Eickstedt and great-grandson Luke.

A Memorial Service for Lorraine will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church of West Bend with Pastor David Kellerman presiding. The Inurnment will take place following the service at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St John's Lutheran Church in Lorraine's name.
