Linda Louise Nordby (nee Hooks), age 82, passed away suddenly on April 1, 2026. She was born in California on November 30, 1943 to Lester and Edith (nee Horn) Hooks. Linda went on to live in Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin. While living in Washington she ran an in-home-daycare which she enjoyed very much. She married Earl on October 10, 1975 and blended two families into one. Linda and her husband Earl moved to Wisconsin in 1986 to be closer to Earl’s family. Once moving to Wisconsin, she got a job at Serigraph and worked there until retirement. While in retirement she enjoyed fishing, watching The Price is Right, football, especially the Green Bay Packers and Brewers baseball. Her love was watching her grandchildren Preston and Ava during her retirement years.
Linda is survived by her children, Rodney (Tamara) Nordby, Curtis (Marita) Nordby, Michael (Virginia) Hamilton, Jodi (Rob) Eichensehr and Mark (Mariah) Nordby; grandchildren, Benjamin, Curtis, Joshua, Ashlee, Britnee, Zach, Mason, Luke, Colin, Madelyn, Preston, Ava, Tyler and Jerod; great-grandchildren, Emalee, Joshua, Nikyla, Ryan, Braxton, Harper, Sawyer, Anthony, Carson, Emerson, Jacob, Kallen, Lyra, Jameson, Remington and Bennett; great-great-grandchildren, Liyla, Kameron, Grayson and Mariah. She is also survived by her special friend Mike “Sparky” Berry. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Nordby; son, Christopher Nordby; grandson Christopher Nordby; her parents and sister, Edith Lenor Brown.
A visitation will be on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095) from 3:00pm until 5:00pm with a funeral service at 5:15pm. Private family interment at Washington County Memorial Park.
