Linda A. Peeso (nee Wood, formerly known as Kiefer) went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the age of 72 years.

Linda was born on March 19, 1941 in Chicago, IL to George and Adeline "Ann" (nee Schultz) Kiefer. She was a Slinger High School graduate, Class of 1959. She married Lee Peeso on May 25, 1975 at St. John's UCC in Slinger. She was a longtime member of St. John's UCC where she was also a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years.

In her free time, Linda was an avid reader. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandson. She looked forward to vacations every summer in Hayward at "the cabin" where she surrounded by the all the natural wildlife.

Linda is survived by her best friend and husband Lee. She is loving mother to Roxane (Mitchell) Worth, Denise (Tim) Zenisek, Todd (Tammy) Behling, and Jason Peeso; and proud grandma to Michelle (Brett) Wichman, Jeffrey Pruess, Brittany Zenisek, Alexandra Zenisek, Michael Behling, and Taytumn Wolf; and great-grandson Andre Pruess. She is further survived by her sister Diane (Allen) Mossburg, brother Donald (Mary) Kiefer, special friend Marie Behling, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Ann, in-laws Lyman and Myrtle Peeso, and grandchildren Christina Behling and David Behling.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 6:45 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. in West Bend. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Slinger Police Department, Lifestar EMT's, Washington County Medical Examiner, and Dr. Peter Cornelius for all their care and support during this time.
