On Friday, August 26th, 2022, Lester V. Hahn passed away at the age of 94. Lester was born March 4th, 1928 in West Bend, WI to Ervin and Orina Hahn. He was a farmer, pilot / airplane mechanic and owned a few of his own businesses. He married Catherine Winters. They raised two sons, Lester Jr and Mark. Lester had a passion for flying. He started as a crop duster and flew for North Central Airlines. He bought and sold many types of airplanes, having flown over 700 types of aircraft. As an instructor, he flew with hundreds of different students over the years. He also operated the Sky Ranch Airport in Kohlsville, WI. Lester was drafted into the Army in 1947. He was known for his quick wit and energizing personality.

Lester was preceded in death by his father, Ervin, his mother, Orina, and his wife Catherine. He is survived by his two children Lester Jr and Mark, seven grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and other family.

The viewing will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 7th at Zion Lutheran Church in Kohlsville, WI and the funeral will begin at 12 pm.
