LeRoy Henry Goetz, age 101 passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at his residence in Slinger, Wisconsin. He was born April 20, 1921 in Willow Creek, Wisconsin the son of Alice (Piltz Goetz Morris) and Joseph Goetz.
LeRoy married Beverly Schuld November 30, 1946. He served in the United States Army, a veteran of World War II and Battle of the Bulge. He retired after 40 years as an ironworker from Hennes Construction. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union and St. Peter Catholic Church in Slinger. LeRoy enjoyed fishing, gambling, finding treasures at rummage sales, golfing and traveling with friends and family.
LeRoy is survived by his children, Robert (Linda) Goetz, Judy (Dean) Hausladen, Janice (Ken) Hajek, grandchildren, Nicole (Aaron) Ewing, Leslie Culp, Erika (Chad) Bunke, Angela (Nick) Dembeck, Timothy Schmidt, Jason (Liz) Hajek, Dustin (fiancé Melissa) Hajek, Michael (Lizzie) Hajek, great-grandchildren, Vincent, Olivia, Brienna, Lauren, Spencer, Jaden, Mya, Shae, Makenna, Kameron, Izabel, Sophia, Jordon, Ellie, Mila, Aaliyah and Amara. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings, Jerome, John, Harold and Elizabeth.
A Mass of Christian Burial for LeRoy will be at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. 8th Avenue, West Bend, WI. Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 10:00 am until 11:45 am. Burial will take place privately at St. Mary's Cemetery in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
