Larry Spoerl, 74 years young, of West Bend, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025.   Born on October 15, 1950, Larry lived a life marked by quiet strength, loyal service, and an unwavering devotion to his family and community.

A proud graduate of Kewaskum High School, Larry went on to dedicate 37 years of his life to the Washington County Sheriff's Department, serving as a Jailer and Dispatcher. He was known for his calm demeanor, quick wit, and deep respect for the people he worked with and served. Larry's legacy of service left a lasting impression on those around him and helped shape the department's foundation of integrity and care.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary, and his children: Andrea, Ron, Christine, and Tim. He was a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 6 great-grandchildren. He is also remembered fondly by his brother Steve (the late Sue) Spoerl, sister-in-law Joanne (the late Robert) Spoerl, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Viola Spoerl; his brother, Robert Spoerl; and his sister-in-law, Sue Spoerl.
