Kyle G. Kritz, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 23, 2025. Kyle was born on June 26, 1980, in West Bend, WI, the son of Larry and Nancy (née Zettler) Kritz. He graduated from West Bend East High School in 1998. A lifelong resident of West Bend, he was employed at JL Business Interiors for 27 years. On August 28, 2004, he married Sara Myre. Their greatest blessings came in their two sons, Brayden and Lucas, who were the pride and joy of their father’s life.
He had a passion for Scouting with his oldest son, Brayden. He was also an assistant baseball coach for Lucas’s Bulldogs and truly loved every minute of it. For Kyle, hunting was really just time spent with the people he loved. He started by going with his younger brother, Ryan, and later, he was grateful to share those same moments with Brayden and Lucas.
Kyle will be deeply missed by his wife of 21 years, Sara; his two boys, Brayden and Lucas; his parents, Larry and Nancy Kritz; and his two brothers, Leonard (Stacey) and Ryan (Alesia). He will also be missed by his nieces Melanie, Ashley, Isabelle, Katrina, Leah, Brielle, and Sadie; his nephew Leonard Jr.; his father- and mother-in-law, Richard and Roberta Myre; his brother- and sister-in-law, Jason (Diana) Myre; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Alice Zettler, and his paternal grandparents, Martin and Lillian Kritz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Kyle on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at St. Frances Cabrini Parish in West Bend at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 10:00–11:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Kyle’s sons, Brayden and Lucas Kritz.
