Kevin J. Hackbarth
Of Slinger passed peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024, with family by his side, at the age of 44. He was born in Hartford, WI, the son of Bruce and Barbara (Simpson) Hackbarth. Kevin graduated from Hartford High School and married Kristy A. Sternke on September 2, 2000. Kevin worked as a machinist at ABS Precision Machining. He enjoyed basketball, video games, classic cars, drawing, cooking and his favorite music group Metallica. Kevin was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Slinger, WI.
Kevin is lovingly survived by his wife Kristy Ann Hackbarth of 24 years; son Jordan Michael Hackbarth; parents Bruce and Barbara Hackbarth; sister Brooke Hackbarth; parent-in-laws Donna and Fred Sternke; sisters-in-law Kelly (Adam) Krebs, and Katie (Eric) Holl. He is further survived by niece Alyssa Krebs and nephews Connor and Brandon Holl, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 1:30PM until 2:45PM, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00PM, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 200 E. Washington St., Slinger, WI. Rev. Richard J. Stoffel will be presiding. burial to follow at New St. Peter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kevin's name to Glioblastoma Foundation would be appreciated.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kathy Hospice, West Bend and Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee.
