Kenneth A. Stauss Jr., 56 of Jackson, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at St. Joseph/Froedtert Hospital.

Kenneth was born on December 23, 1958 in Hartford to Kenneth and Mary (nee Truss) Stauss. He was raised in the Jackson area and graduated from Slinger High School, class of 1977. Ken married Patti (nee Sutton) on May 26, 1979 and was the owner/operator of Stauss Masonry, Inc.. Ken enjoyed going out for breakfast, watching the Green Bay Packers win, and playing sheepshead. He also liked driving to his cabin in The Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee along with the pleasure of sitting on the porch smoking his cigar and sipping Jack Daniels.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Patti, children Lauren and Ken (partner Jeremiah), and sister Julie. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Tish Sutton, sister-in-law Kay (Gus) Sutton-Statz, brother-in-law Rick (Christal) Sutton, nieces Tiffany (Tom) Groman, Andrea Sutton, nephew Shane Ebert, great nieces Daisy and Tallulah, 2 canine companions Lily and Dixie Doodle, 2 feline companions Peanut and Muffin, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Dick Sutton.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 18 from
4:00 pm until the time of service. The Funeral Service will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Private Interment will take place at Mayfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the Washington Co. Humane Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
