Obituary

Kenneth "Kenny" D. Langnes, age 55, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Theda Care in Berlin, WI. He was born on January 13, 1962 to James and Diana (nee Gleesing) Langnes. He graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1980. Kenny enjoyed many things in life ranging from hunting and fishing to riding his motorcycle when he was able. Kenny was a volunteer firefighter for the Cedarburg Fire Department with his father and continued to work in mechanics and CNC operations at multiple factories. In 1988, he married Beverly (nee Sommerfeldt) Langnes and later had a daughter, Ashly in 1989. With that marriage he also gained a step-son, Gary Williams, whom he loved dearly and treated him as his own. Kenny always had a heart of Gold that his parents instilled in him his whole life. He always helped others whether it was fixing brakes on a car or the simple task of moving from house to house.

Kenny is survived by his daughter Ashly; step-son Gary Williams (Laura); his mother Diana; his sister Ruth (Tom Gund); three grandchildren Jordan, Ryan and Alyssa Williams; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly (nee Sommerfeldt); his father James; and other family members.

A Celebration of Life and Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials and monetary donations can be given to his daughter Ashly. All other donations shall be donated in Kenny's name to Juliette Manor and/or the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial Park in Door County.

A special thank you to Juliette Manor of Berlin and Theda Care Medical Center of Berlin for taking the best care of Kenny in his final days as well as taking care of family after death.
