Kathleen A. Zwirlein (nee Laubenheimer), age 66 years of Slinger, passed away March 28, 2016 at Ivy Manor in Jackson.

Kathleen was born on January 31, 1950 to Stanley and LaVerne (nee Schaefer) Laubenheimer. She graduated in 1968 from Slinger High School and later married Ken Zwirlein on September 19, 1970. Kathy enjoyed painting, crafting and was an active person with a lot of talent which included flower gardens, crocheting, but most of all she loved taking care of her family.

Kathy will be deeply missed by her loving husband Ken, children Kurt (Samantha Heiman) and Kim (Brian Cesar). She is further survived by her granddaughter Morgan Zwirlein, brother Richard (Ruth) Laubenheimer, parents Stanley "Bloof" and LaVerne "Torchy" Laubenheimer, on Ken's side brother-in-law Thomas (Chris) Zwirlein, sisters-in-law Judy Zwirlein, Paul's wife Judy Zwirlein, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by Ken's parents Eugene (Margaret) Zwirlein and Kathy's brother-in-law Paul.

At Kathy's request, no formal services will be held.
