Kathleen "Kathy" S. Fettig
(nee Vollendorf)
Passed peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the age of 68, with her loving husband and sons by her side. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of the late Melvern and Luella (nee Shigly) Vollendorf. On October 7, 1972, Kathy married the love of her life Randy J. Fettig. She worked at May Steel for over 25 years. Kathy also loved spending time with her grandchildren, listening to country music, going on gambling trips, and long walks on the bike paths. She was famous for her holiday gatherings, her Butter Scotch Torte and Homemade soups.
Kathy is survived by her husband Randy of 52 years; sons Randy (Carol) Jr., Brian (Brenda), Josh (Sarah), and Kyle (Ashley); grandchildren Christopher, Madisyn, Cooper, Jaxton, Mason, Aiden, Everett, Myles, and Collins. She is further survived by siblings Donna, Otto, Rose, Judy, and Carol, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
