Obituary
Katherine "Kathy" Rose Vogel (nee Wilson), age 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born on June 26, 1952 in Rockland, Maine to Allison and Ruth (nee Wilson).
Kathy enjoyed crafting, knitting, antiquing, baking, traveling, being active in her church, and most of all spending time with family and loved ones.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Paul Vogel; daughter, Kellie (Scott) Heckert, daughter-in-law, Julie Abshire; stepchildren, Cyndi (Randall) Luttrell; grandchildren, Adam Abshire, Britani (Michael) Weidman, Joshua Abshire, Brittny Sharpe, Allison Heckert; great-grandchildren, Aribella, Jasper, Camden, Elinora, and Greta; sisters, Terry (Dennis) Alley and Pam (Stuart) Koegle; father, Allison Wilson Jr. She is further survived by other friends and relatives.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mother Ruth Wilson; sister Sandi Ochs; and her son Marty Abshire.
A Visitation will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 10:30am until 12:30pm with a service to follow at Northwest Baptist Church (4373 N 92nd St. Milwaukee, WI).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Northwest Baptist Church.
A special thank you to Horizon Home & Hospice for their wonderful care with Kathy and her family in her final days.
