Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Judy Mae Nagrocki (Nee: Grasse) of West Bend who died on September 26, 2026. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her strength, and her loving devotion to her family. She was born on January 27,1946 in Port Washington, WI to the late Glenway and Verna (Nee; Liepert) Grasse and raised on the family farm in Waubeka, WI. On April 7,1967, Judy united in marriage to Daniel R. Nagrocki in Kitizegen, Germany, where they resided while Daniel completed his military commitment. Later they raised their two children in Slinger, WI. Judy graduated from Port Washington High School and received business degrees from Spencerian Business College and Moraine Park Technical College. Prior to retirement, Judy was a licensed real estate agent for several years with Shorewest Realty in West Bend, WI and prior to that an office manager at Strohwig Tool & Die in Slinger/Richfield, WI.
Judy is preceded in death by her husband Daniel in 2006. During retirement Judy led a very active and busy life and will be missed by many. She volunteered at Family Sharing in Grafton, the West Bend Senior Center, and the Noble Community Clinic (formally Albrecht Free Clinic) in West Bend, WI. Prior to that, Judy volunteered with the Red Cross, whereas she had the privilege of building shelters in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In addition to her volunteer work, Judy was very active in the West Bend community. She belonged to the Outdoors Adventure Club, the Senior Center of West Bend, the Sociable Singles group, TOPS Club, Inc, a game group, and two local book clubs. She enjoyed reading, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, gardening, and playing the Mexican Train dominos game with friends. Judy also will be remembered for her love of travel. She was an avid traveler, exploring the world with family and friends and making each journey a shared adventure.
Judy will be missed by her children; Joe Nagrocki and Amy (Mark) Uhren, her grandchildren; Joshua Uhren, Sarah Uhren, Rachel (Aaron) Nett, Abigail (Justin) Olson, Kayla Nagrocki, and Samuel (Aly) Nagrocki, her great-grandchildren; Ella Olson, Mia Olson, Olivia Nagrocki, and Emerie Nagrocki, and her beloved friend and companion; Clifford Mitchell. She will also be missed by her siblings; Gary (Rita) Grasse, and Diane (Kermit) Womack, her beloved nieces, nephews and other relatives, as well as a wide circle of dear friends and co-workers.
A memorial service will be held for Judy on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. at Phillip Funeral in West Bend, WI. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Flowers are accepted at the funeral home or a monetary donation to the West Bend Senior Center is suggested and would be appreciated by the family.
