Judith Ann Biersach, age 78 of Milwaukee Wisconsin passed away on Monday July 27th, 2026. She struggled with various health issues for the past couple of years and is now at peace.

She was born on September 3rd, 1947, in Milwaukee Wi to Albert and Evelyn (Chaloupek) Dempsey. As a young woman Judy was very close to her father and helped the Shriner’s organization and was part of the Job’s Daughters youth group that was an organization that helped build leadership skills. As part of this international group, she loved playing softball and became the pitcher on the team in West Allis for several years. Judy graduated from Nathan Hale in West Allis, WI and entered the trades for Cosmetology. She obtained her beautician license and later became everyone’s go to person in the community for a haircut or style (teachers, neighbors, and others alike). Her daughters on the other hand suffered many years of tight curly perms and became her experimental subjects for her hair style fun! In addition to utilizing her beautician license, Judy was a very busy young mom and wife who managed her ex-husband’s construction business and also ran a daycare with a friend out of Pioneer Bowl in Richfield Wi. She later ran a daycare business out of her home for many of the young working parents in the community and participated in her children’s school activities and sports. Den Mom for cub scouts, little league baseball coach, and running her son to guitar lessons while she ran her girls in the other direction to dance and piano lessons; these were just some of the extracurricular activities she was involved in. Later in life Judy’s fun hairstyle caught up with her as she became known for her pink, purple and blue sassy “peacock” moments. She loved April fool’s day and a good fun prank that could make others laugh. Her zest for life could be seen through the relationships she formed and by the way she enjoyed each moment. Some of her pastime enjoyments were playing cards with friends, flea market shopping in Florida and 7-mile fair here in WI, attending local festivals, eating seafood on the beach, watching dolphins swim, watching game shows on TV, and joking with her grandkids about piercings all the while dancing with her granddaughters on the WII game console to Jailhouse Rock. Judy had a love for music and it started with Elvis Presley, but she also loved Bob Marley and all genres of music. She enjoyed watching an Elvis impersonator by the name of Jelvis in-particular-when she lived in Florida and watching live music was her favorite thing to do. She also had a love for sports that didn’t go unnoticed as she wore her cheese earrings, and Packer and Brewer jerseys to root for her hometown teams but nothing compared to watching her grandson play football this last year. She was extremely proud of all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and never missed a chance to brag about any of them. She beamed with pride at her Grandson serving this Country and her granddaughter building her own cleaning business. Other favorite mentions would be her malibu and diet cokes, cream cheese veggie pizza, stuffed green peppers, and who could forget her famous mushroom cheese dip! Mom, we will miss you and all of the wonderful, cherished memories, especially our dance parties, but we know that Heaven just gained one hell of a blue suede hound mom as you arrived with your vodka and lemonade in hand and said “Let’s get this party started!”

Judy is survived by her three children Joe Lebakken, Jennifer (Brian) Witzel, Jessical Meyer, Grandchildren Kayla and Kodi Meyer, Summer, Logan, Skylar Witzel, great-grandchildren Landon and Presley and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Elvelyn Dempsey, brother Robert Dempsey and nieces Sharon and JoEllen.
