Joyce Katherine Radocha, age 76 years of Alameda, CA, passed away February 21, 2019 in California. She was born on February 17, 1943 in Milwaukee to Thomas A. and Esther A. (nee Geldon) Radocha. She graduated from Messmer High School Class of 1961 and UW Madison Class of 1965. She was an Elementary teacher for 2 years in WI, taught for 5 years in California and then worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years in San Francisco, CA. She traveled extensively, backpacked thru Europe, was an avid reader, loved swimming and started at age 5 when she swam across Lake Kessus, swam in all weather with a wet suit in Alameda, CA, and was an environmentalist and hiker.

Joyce is survived by her mother Esther, aunt Audrey Bower of Florida, her cousin Josephine Bonczek of West Allis, other cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas, brother Robert and sister Judith.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday April 6th at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 E Washington St. Slinger, WI 53086) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding.(Please Meet At Time of Service). Final Place of rest will be at St Peter Cemetery. Following the burial, there will be food and fellowship at the church.

The family would like to thank her friend Pat B. and neighbors Kathy V., Maureen B., and Tessie for all the love and care they gave to Joyce.
