Josephine Schickert passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the age of 99 years. She was born on November 26, 1914 in Milwaukee to Frank and Margareta (nee Logel).

Josephine married Delford Schickert on April 17, 1934 in Milwaukee. They shared 68 wonderful years together before Del's passing in 2002.

Josephine is a loving mother to children: Owen (Marion), the late Arlene (Bill) Christian, John (Myrna), Cindy (Roger) Krause, Pamela (Ed) Zaborowski, and Lorelei (Rick) Dent; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Marge Riley, brother-in-law Claude Schickert, nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

Josephine is preceded in death by her husband Del and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Dr. in West Bend on Saturday, March 22, 2014. A Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11:30 AM at the funeral home on Saturday, March 22, 2014 with Pastor Stephen Gorton presiding. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park.
