Joseph S. Klass, Jr., age 87, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2021 in West Bend. He was born on September 1, 1933, the son of Anna and Joseph Klass, Sr. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine D. Klass (nee Jakubowski), his sister Bernadette, and many other dear relatives and friends.

He is further survived by his children: David (Doris), Jane (Jeffrey) Morisse and Robert; grandsons Bryan and Josef.

Joe was a retired Sprinkler Fitter, an exceptional musician, and is a member of the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame. He was a beloved father, Papa Joe, and friend. We will miss his stories and his corny jokes.

A Funeral Service for Joseph will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 5:30PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel in West Bend. The visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 30, from 3:30 PM until 5:30 PM. Entombment will take place privately at Washington County Memorial Park.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
